The sales numbers were dwindling the past couple of days, so I didn’t bother posting about them, but what matters is that this is their first ever #1 album. TAKITSUBA… OMEDETOU!!!

I’m so happy for the both of them, especially since this is a special 5th year release. Gives it the extra oooomph.

One more thing I’m so glad about, is that I get to be part of this achievement.
There is no better way to show them that they’re appreciated, than by helping them work towards their well-deserved number 1.
This is like passing the friction point in first gear, now to build up to second within the first few meters! (gomen, I just came back from my driving lesson… lol!)
Can’t wait for more new releases ^^

Takitsuba = #1 again for the 17 Oct sales

Total sales so far = 32133 copies
Does this mean that this is the actual release date sales? I still don’t know what to make of it

They appeared pretending to be staff bringing the chair and mike stand out for Aiba’s solo right after the MC talk. I’m so happy when I hear the audience’s reaction ^_^ T&T introduced themselves.

honestly, Tsu didn’t look that bad. I was expecting something really really bad, but apart from his dasai socks + berms + shoes
(eek! middle aged men who jog around the estate usually wear that)
but his face was still cute despite this being his chubbier period!! and he has a cute little bun. A little unshaven, but still cute.
He is such a chameleon!
Actually takki was wearing some sort of gym clothing too… his arms looked damn hot! my immediate thoughts were that they came together after boxing training!!

Aiba’s solo was really pleasant!!!! and the stage setting is really pretty.
The both of them sat on the steps behind Aiba as he sang… and that’s where the ‘heartshape spotlight’ came in!
haha I think it’s less of a heart-shape spotlight, but more of 2 elliptical spotlights overlapping. But whatever it is, they were seated so strategically and they were so cute!!!!! waving their hands and swaying their bodies to the music… and the audience followed with their penlights.

There was this part where Tsu looked over to Takki and started to wave his arm, and Takki smiled and followed:

wheeee I survived my exam! that’s another one down ^___^
my bf made an exam quiz on facebook, and I scored a grand total of 47%. It’s time to hit the books again…

but before that, I headed down to the city do run some errands, and had a slice of green tea gateau on behalf of tsu.

By some divine intervention, there were no air tickets and I ended up not being able to go. It’s saaaad T_T but I say it’s divine intervention because otherwise, I would be on the sure track of dropping out of uni.

Even if you have downloaded it, best of albums are the most worthwhile to collect if you are a lukewarm fan, especially if you like what you hear.

Although I can’t celebrate in style because of my exams, I managed to finish up early last night despite battling some serious cramps and scanned a selection of photos.
I just flipped through my photoalbum, and scanned at random whichever ones caught my eye

I can’t wait for this case presentation to be over!!! Super nervous about it… but I have a short break planned for later tonight (ie. after I go to sleep and wake up) and after that its full steam ahead. At least this will give me some time to breathe and hold a mini private celebration for album release + b’day. YOOOSHHHH~~

I should be last minute cramming for my exam tomorrow, but here I am because I can’t contain my thoughts!
Can’t believe I’m doing the review before the release date.

I really love every single one of the ‘new’ songs. LOVE is definitely the word of the day.

The releases also always end up looking better when they arrive. I really like what they’ve done with the special print. Besides, there’s nothing like the joy of ripping the delivery box open~~~~~

Overture
Don’t know what really to make of this? It’s quite cool.
Feels like I’m speeding through a Takitsuba time warp. I think this is the general feel they’re trying to create with the DVD as well?

Daydreamer
Takes no effort to like this song at all.
Very simple and pretty melody, and of course, takitsuba harmony. Arigatou Fuji-san!
I’m so glad this will be a drama theme! So people will know that they can sing ballads too, besides furitsuke party songs. The drama looks like it appeals to a more mature crowd… and only 8 episodes, but this is the first time they’re singing something for a drama right?

Real Dx
All the jr songs sound so familiar yet so different. Especially this I think… probably because I’ve been used to hearing the song with all the screaming. The background sounds really quiet…

Words of Love
One of my fav takki solos! I remember when I was a new fan, I used to have ‘aishiteru wakatteru kimo no koto’ perpetually stuck in my head.
hehe, but it’s another song that I need to get used to without the screaming.

Axel
I’ve been listening to the 23-24 rip of Axel with the jazz beginning so much that this original version sounds unoriginal.
lol! I have to stop comparing all the songs to the existing recordings.
It should be interesting to put all the versions of Axel together to hear how his voice has matured.

Journey
It’s no wonder Tsu likes this song. I liked it on first listen too.
My first impression of it is… it sounds really english (the language), especially once it breaks into the chorus.

Do Me Crazy
Another of Tsu’s dance song…
Everything to love about this song, is in the title and lyrics.
Target ni Shoot! hajimete miserunda *cough*cough*
Then again, it might just be me…

Kamira Tamara
I can’t listen to this song without wanting to wave my hands in the air.
LOL! mich, do you remember how we seemed like the only ones who wanted to do the furitsuke at the concert… I must have watched the harukon dvd too many times. I can even imagine them playing air guitar to the middle parts.
The chorus of this song is saikou too!!! Yappari nothing rivals their harmony.

Koi Yo
I am in love with this song.
It is just sooooo romantic, everything that I associate with it u___u

hehe I was surprised by the opening of the song! so cute!
The melody of this is chou kawaii, all 60s sounding. To hear chibi takki sing it is one thing, but he sounds absolutely adorable here!
hahahahaha I can totally imagine takki shuffling his legs across the dance floor doing the twist and the mashed potato. LOOOOOL

Nagare Boshi
Sounds SO DAMN GOOD.
TSU’S VOICEEEEEEEE. It’s just… ahhhhh just gotta keep playing it on repeat through the earphones.
I know I said this with his Yakusoku, and it’s kimochi warui, but I’ll say it again…
feels like he’s licking your ears. XD
It’s hard for me to listen to this song without picturing him in that blue satin shirt, with sweat streaming down his body.

LOL. So many giggles from this song!!!
They must have had fun in the recording studio. No lyrics printed in the booklet, so I’m having trouble understanding what they’re saying exactly. And who are the ones shouting!!??! haha juniors + staff-san??
Won’t post any spoilers, but the both of them were talking with super seme and sukebe voices. HAHAHAHAHA. I can’t stop laughing… my housemate probably thinks I’ve gone nuts, AGAIN.

It’s hard to see how his foot is doing because there wasn’t much walking/dancing. All the jrs sort of did all the dancing and moving. It would have pained me greatly if he was limping like after the 2005 injury, but THANK GOD he wasn’t.
Why can’t they tell us how he’s doing exactly?? All this guessing is worrisome.

I couldn’t help but wonder if they cut out some furitsuke because of Tsu’s injury…

Kamira Tamara sounded slightly weak at the solos, slightly pitchy, mikes were on too softly? I was going oh nooo…
but once the chorus kicks in… the harmony is perfect!!!! It sounded really good.
And I loved how they walked towards the camera at the end of the song. The way Tsu sort of licked the inside of his cheek. cho kakkoii! Like models on the catwalk.

BIG MISGIVING: why did they have kismy pose with their shirts off?! lol!!! That was just super cheesy and disturbing.
(Although I probably won’t be saying the same if T&T were the ones who stripped hehehe)

I hope the short rest did him well… *waits for today’s shows*.
Meanwhile, I’m going to dl the remainder of MS and try to get a whole lot of studying + housework done.
